Miracle on 34th Street
Donating to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Iowa
Sigma Phi Epsilon’s Miracle on 34th Street is a winter philanthropy held in early December. This one-day event hosted at the SigEp chapter house was started in 2012 by a group of brothers who decided to create something new. All members of the Drake community are invited to spread holiday cheer, listen to holiday music, make arts and crafts, eat delicious cookies, and drink hot chocolate. If those activities don’t bring a smile to your face, take a picture with Santa!
Admission to the event is $5, or you can donate a toy! All proceeds and toys collected are donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters (a mentoring program for elementary students), Sigma Phi Epsilon’s national philanthropic and service learning partner.
